Specifically the following advantages:
1 save time, improve charging efficiency: the implementation of electronic toll collection , on the one hand , it can allow the vehicle pass with high speed ( tens of kilometers as well as more than 100 km ) , and compared with the traditional eight seconds manual ticket charges,this toll greatly accelerated the capacity of the highway toll plazas . It is estimated that ETC lanes will increase capacity 4-6 times compared with the manual toll lanes ,thus reducing vehicle obstruction.From the car user's point of view,the ETC system saves time and makes driving safer,and from the owner’s perspective, it improve the charge efficiency .

System principle:
Each vehicle has its own unique remote identification card , mounted on the front windshield in the car. Model discrimination is pre- approval of the vehicle and license plate number in the condition that the vehicle is still,with the one to one credited to their identity cards,and the identity card data can be read within a few meters outside the microwave equipment and can also be modified. The whole charging process is processed by the electronic communications and computer,no need manual intervention ,no need stopping to pay, and the cost of a user were assigned ahead of prepaid cards, or in the bank special account . Affixed with identity card car passes ETC , there will be signs suggesting lower speed ( less than 50 km / h ) . When the car passes through the first door frame equipped with transceivers ( also equipped with cameras and infrared detectors ) , the transceiver and electronic identification cards will two-way confirmed by the high frequency of the microwave. The transceiver will firstly verify the validity of electronic identity card and read data to calculate fees card. If the card is not recognized ( including invalid ) or insufficient balance , the railing in front of the door frame will not rise , and the system issues a warning to alert drivers into the right side semi-automatic toll payment lanes. If all goes well , the railing in front of the door frame will automatically rise,when the car passes through the the second door frame fitted with transceivers, the electronic identity card will be modified,then complete the charging process. Each lane capacity of 800 - 1,500 / hour or more of the system opened abroad, the error is only 10E-6. ETC improves road capacity and shorten travel time , reduce delays and congestion , greatly improving the speed of the vehicle through the toll lanes.
System components:
1 .electronic identity card
Electronic identity card is an active electronic radio frequency card, the power is about 1/1000 watts ,and its memory can be stored,which is a variety of information , including vehicle type , vehicle license plate number , the owner of the relevant information , is a perfect vehicle identity card and credit card.
2 .transceiver
Transceiver is a device with a microwave line,it can establish high directivity high-frequency microwave communication with identity card It has a strong anti-jamming capability and fast communication capability.
3 . processor
It will deal with the microprocessor and interpret the information from the identification card transmit to the lane controller , thus obtain the information of the car and proceed accordingly , by analysis of the data from the lane controller can identify the card data within the necessary modification.
4 . lane controller
According to the information on the card,the controller determine whether the vehicle has a normal right to pass through,and also determine the validity of the card and start the appropriate traffic signs,can also be a warning to the owners of the necessary tips. If there are illegal checkpoints,it can also drive forensics to capture illegal system .
